    Myself and two girlfriends stayed in a cabin at the winery as we were going to the Polo in the Paddock event. The cabin was quite basic but was very idyllic and had everything we needed. In comparison to a lot of the accommodation options we looked at it was reasonably priced but we felt a much nicer in terms of the fit-out. The kitchen, dining and lounge area was very spacious. The only trouble we had is that there was no bench in the bathroom and with 3 girls trying to get ready for an event it proved a little bit difficult!

    A beautiful cellar door with giant wine barrels and church choir stall chairs llining the entrance. Pieter van Gent serve lovely white wines and beautiful fortified wines and port.

    I enjoyed the wine, setting and atmosphere in the gloomy cellar tasting area. There are some nice old barrels and pews.
